Dear Friends, Johar!
We are all blessed with countless gifts in life. From our childhood, knowingly or unknowingly, many people have invested their time, money, and efforts into us. Our families, society, and even our nation have played a vital role in shaping who we are today. Even the language we speak is not solely ours—it too is a contribution from others.
As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I firmly believe that each of us carries a social responsibility. It is time to give back to society and make this world a better place to live in.
Every individual has been blessed with some form of leadership, resources, or skills. The Bible says in 1 John 4:20:
“If you cannot love your brother whom you can see, how can you love God whom you cannot see?”
This verse transformed my life, my worldview, and my lifestyle. I truly believe that if we do what is possible, God will do what seems impossible.
We must begin by changing ourselves, and then bring change to the world around us. That is when we can be called true nation builders. If there is to be any competition among us, let it be a competition in doing good:
-
in wiping the tears of the brokenhearted,
-
in reaching out to the untouched,
-
in giving a voice to the voiceless.
With this noble vision, I established Good News Centre (NGO) on 12th September 2007. I understand that we all have different capacities and limitations, but the truth remains: if you want to change millions of lives, begin with one.
May God bless you all.
